Upacara memperingati Hari Kesaktian Pancasila tanggal 01 Oktober 2022 yang di laksanakan di lapangan serbaguna SMP Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Manggis ini, salah satunya bertujuan untuk mengenang kembali sejarah perjuangan dalam mempertahankan Ideologi bangsa, termasuk penghormatan terhadap jasa para Pahlawan Revolusi yang gugur dalam peristiwa Gerakan 30 September atau lebih di kenal dengan sebutan G30S/PKI yang terjadi pada tahun 1965.
Pelaksanaan upacara tahun ini ada yang berbeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, yaitu adanya pembacaan IKRAR yang bacakan oleh salah seorang peserta upacara yaitu Ibu Yeni Noviana, S.Pd yang saat ini menjabat sebagai pembina kesiswaan. Upacara juga di hadiri oleh Kepala Satuan Pendidikan Ibu Susilawati, M.Pd selaku inspektur upacara, seluruh Majelis Guru, Staff TU dan seluruh peserta didik. Dengan kesigapan pengurus OSIS sebagai petugas upacara, alhamdulillah upacara dapat berlangsung sederhana, singkat namun cukup hikmat.
Setelah upacara usai dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan ramah tamah, jajak pendapat, seputar wawasan sejarah dan peristiwa G30S/PKI bersama dewan guru di perpustakaan sebagai ruangan serbaguna. Sekaligus pembinaan dan pembekalan terhadap pengurus dan anggota Tim Jurnalistik Sekolah (TJS). Pada kesempatan itu juga dilaksanakan pengalungan kartu identitas terhadap 4 (empat) peserta didik yang tergabung ke dalam kepengurusan TJS oleh Ibu Kepala Satuan Pendidikan didampingi oleh Ibu Pembina Kesiswaan. Mereka adalah: Izzatul Azizah (kelas 9), Dinda Sugiarti (kelas 8), Aima Septia Anggraini (kelas 8) dan Nurul Karima (kelas 7). Sedangkan Kepala Satuan Pendidikan bertindak sebagai Pemimpin Redaksi dan Editor Tim Jurnalistik Sekolah tersebut.
Dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut diharapkan mampu memupuk rasa kekeluargaan dan saling menghormati tugas dan tanggung jawab sesama warga sekolah. Semoga ilmu yang di berikan dapat bermanfaat bagi kita semua. (Tjs/Ds)
