Pagi hari yang cukup cerah ini peserta didik beserta Bapak/Ibu guru SMP Negeri Satap Pematang Manggis melaksanakan kegiatan gotong royong membersihkan lingkungan sekolah, baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Lokasi yang dibersihkan meliputi ruang kelas, taman kelas, lapangan upacara serta lingkungan belakang kelas.
Kegiatan gotong royong tersebut merupakan salah satu rutinitas setiap Sabtu pagi. Sesuai arahan Bapak dan Ibu Guru, dan berkat kerjasama yang baik maka gotong royong dapat berjalan dengan lancar sesuai harapan. Disamping merupakan kegiatan pembiasaan, gotong royong juga diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan rasa kebersamaan, tolong menolong, memupuk jiwa sosial, empati dan rela berkorban.
