Simulasi ANBK adalah suatu metode pelatihan yang memperagakan proses berlangsungnya Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer dalam bentuk tiruan yang mirip dengan keadaan sesungguhnya. Simulasi ini sangat berguna bagi para calon peserta ANBK dalam menjawab semua pertanyaan yang diujikan dalam tes. Walaupun ANBK bukan menjadi faktor utama penentu kelulusan siswa, tetapi tes ini harus dilaksanakan dengan sangat serius.
Selain daripada itu, simulasi ANBK tahap 1 ini juga sangat penting diterapkan kepada siswa SMP Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Manggis sebagai kegiatan pembiasaan. Dan uniknya program Kemendikbud yang satu ini, untuk jenjang SMP tahun ini berbarengan dengan tingkat SMA dan SMK yang berlangsung dari tanggal 1-4 Agustus 2022. Dengan keprofesionalan dan kegesitan Tim IT SMP Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Manggis ini, simulasi ANBK berlangsung dengan sukses tanpa kendala hingga beberapa hari kedepan.

ANBK akan difungsikan sebagai evaluasi mutu pendidikan siswa di seluruh Indonesia oleh Kemdikbud.
Bentuk soal ANBK 2022 sama seperti tahun sebelumnya terdiri dari pilihan ganda, pilihan ganda kompleks, menjodohkan, isian singkat, dan uraian.
