Btc./PM, Dalam rangka menyongsong dan memeriahkan HUT Provinsi Riau Ke-66 tepatnya tanggal 9 Agustus 2023 dan HUT RI Ke-78 tanggal 17 Agustus 2023 mendatang, SMPN Satu Atap Pematang Manggis mulai berbenah diri. Segenap warga sekolah bahu-membahu membersihkan area dalam dan luar sekolah serta menghias dan menata sekolah dengan pemasangan umbul-umbul dan atribut lainnya agar bertambah semarak dan semangat.
Kegiatan ini sengaja dilakukan sebagai upaya mempererat ukhuwah sesama warga sekolah, membentuk peserta didik berjiwa patriotisme, menumbuhkembangkan rasa cinta tanah air dan bangsa, serta berprofil Pelajar Pancasila sebagaimana yang termaktub di dalam Kurikulum Merdeka sesuai dengan Dimensi P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila), yakni: 1) Beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia; 2) Berkebhinekaan Global; 3) Bergotong-royong; 4) Mandiri; 5) Bernalar kritis; 6) Kreatif.
Sehingga sehaluan dengan tagline yang diusung oleh Pemprov Riau yaitu RIAU BERSATU. Demikian juga dengan tema HUT RI yakni TERUS MELAJU UNTUK INDONESIA MAJU.
