Btc./PM, Jambore Ranting yang disingkat Jamran ini merupakan perkemahan penggalang yang pertama di Kabupaten Indragiri. Kehadiran Bupati Indragiri Kak Rezita Meylani Yopi, SE selaku Kamabicab Indragiri dalam upacara pembukaan pada Sabtu, 26 Agustus lalu sontak mengobarkan semangat yang luar biasa bagi semua pihak. Baik itu Pengurus Kwarran, Gugus Depan dan masyarakat se-Kec. Batang Cenaku.

Kegiatan Jamran tersebut di buka secara resmi oleh Ketua Kwarcab Kak Abdul Rahman dihadapan para ketua dan pengurus Kwarcab, Kamabiran beserta unsur Mabiran Batang Cenaku, Dewan Kerja Ranting, Kamabigus, dan Pembina Pendamping baik Selanjutnya Orientasi ke-Pramukaan dan Seremoni KMD oleh Kak Herman Susilo selaku Ka. Pusdiklat Indragiri.
Perkemahan yang berlangsung dari tanggal 25-28 Agustus ini diisi dengan kegiatan latihan bersama antara penggalang SD dan SMP dengan kelompok sangga kerja, DKR Batang Cenaku.
Disamping itu juga ada 3 (tiga) macam perlombaan yaitu Kelengkapan Administrasi Gudep, Tapak Tenda (Pa & Pi) dan Pentas Seni (kolaborasi Pa & Pi). Alhamdulillah Gugus Depan 09.079-09.080 Pangkalan SMP Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Manggis berhasil membawa pulang 2 (dua) tropy. Terbaik III (tiga) cabang Tapak Tenda Putri tingkat SMP dan Terbaik III (tiga) Kelengkapan Administrasi Gudep tingkat SMP.

Dengan prestasi yang di raih, SMPN Satu Atap Pematang Manggis sangat bersyukur dan berbangga. Penulis selaku Kepala Satuan Pendidikan sekaligus sebagai Kamabigus dan Pimpinan Kontingen (Pimkon) mengucapkan terimakasih yang sebesar-besarnya atas kerjasama yang baik antar peserta didik umumnya dan peserta Jamran khususnya, pembina Pramuka dan Pembina Pendamping (Bindam), Kakak-kakak pelatih khususnya Kak Eka dan Kak Exa. Tak luput juga ucapan terimakasih kepada Ketua Komite Bapak Suprapto dan orangtua/wali Peserta didik yang turut memberikan support dan kontribusinya sehingga terlaksananya kepesertaan putra-putri tercinta sebagaimana harapan bersama. Semoga kedepannya prestasi ini dapat dipertahankan dan bahkan ditingkatkan agar lebih baik lagi.
